Apassionata

The show is beautiful, even though I liked "Grand Voyage" better than "Longing", which is some weird story about a child searching for the lost moon, meeting all sorts of horses on her journey. From impressive Frisians and Shire Horses (I've always loved heavy horses) to Icelandic Horses, Saddlebreds and Achal Tekkiner... my classic little-girl-horse-obsession is long over but I felt like crying happy tears when the in particular heavy horses came out :)

I cannot deny I envied the little girl quite a bit, especially with all these Carmague Horses here. Luckily enough the scenery was also calm enough for me to get one or two good photos.
In total I took more or less 600 photos, most of them having turned out quite miserably blurred. Considering the rather difficult circumstances I guess I have to be happy about every little success :)

Beautiful- probably one of your best. The faded blues, shadows on the horses and overall serenity makes this piece both pleasing to the eye and thought provoking. It makes you think of whispering ghosts or of a forgotten moorland- a dreamy reality from another time.

Although I wish this piece was a little sharper, it is overall a strong piece. If anything were to be altered I would suggest bringing it to a higher contrast by brightening the mid ranges and darkening the shadows while crisping the edges.

That said, as an unaltered photograph it is defiantly and perfectly in its element- only if you chose to "touch up" would any suggestions be needed!

Great piece!! *Clap* *Clap*
